It’s 2:45 a.m. and Rita’s coming ashore.

This is going to be a brief entry. The winds are at what will be the
worst for the Houston area, and they’re not bad at all. However, we
just lost power momentarily, so I want to get this post up here in case
it goes out again.

We’re in bed listening to the winds and rain. The kids are asleep
upstairs – they’ll probably sleep through it. No branches down, or
anything else to report yet. Let’s hope it stays that way.
