About Me

Danielle BourgeiosA Houstonian by choice, I am inordinately proud to live here. I am constantly in motion and can usually be found writing about local businesses and entertainment, building websites, or taking pictures.

I am passionate about technology and people, and am thrilled at the emergence of Web 2.0, which combines the best of both worlds. I am addicted to sites like TechCrunch and TechDirt, and try not to miss a single beta launch.

To find out more about me, you could Google me, or take the easy way out and visit my ClaimID page, which probably contains everything you’d find anyhow.

About My Photography

I got into photography by accident, via my day job as a web developer. While working on a website for my husband’s band, Abbey Rode, I realized we were going to need more photographs of the band performing. I was immensely disappointed with the results from my point-and-shoot, and that was the beginning of the continuous cycle of study-shoot-improve.

Whether it’s live performances or studio shots, I approach photography with the philosophy that I’m an image maker. My goal during any shoot is to capture the energy and essence of the band, and turn that into images that can be used by the band to market what makes them unique. During live performances, I’m working hard not only at getting the band at their best, but capturing their interaction with the audience.

I shoot with professional grade equipment, and depending on the venue, use one or two assistants. Since I would describe my style as journalistic meets marketing, I prefer to work in locales other than studios. I am available to travel – whatever it takes to get the best shot.

Promo shoots start at $200 and include up to three hours of shoot time, and two final shots. Live performance photography starts at $50, and two names on the list. All final photos include color correction, sharpening, airbrushing, etc. so that your band will look great! Email me at Danielle@DigitalDani.com for more information.
